Hermann Lenz’s novel <i>Der Kutscher und der Wappenmaler</i>: Translator’s Note

Eduard Stoklosinski was born in Stuttgart, Germany, and currently lives in Sydney, where he works as a literary translator and teacher. He has translated Prosa, a collection of prose texts by the Austrian writer Thomas Bernhard and he is currently working on a translation of  the novel Der Kutscher und der Wappenmaler by Hermann Lenz. He is also editing and translating an anthology of German authors of non-German backgrounds as part of a doctorate at the University of Sydney.
