Reminiscing about Antiquity at Red Cliff (“Chibi Huaigu”) by Su Shi

Li Wang grew up in China and was among the first university graduates in 1981 after the Chinese National Higher Education System recovered from the cultural revolution. Before that he was a school teacher.  Afterwards he worked as an academic for fifteen years in China and became associate professor of English at Jiangxi Normal University in 1994.  He has lived in Australia for the last 15 years, gaining a masters and a PhD in Chinese Culture and Language.  He is currently teaching Chinese at the University of Sydney.
