<i>Recess!</i> - exploring the cultures of childhood
Abstract
Recess! is a nationally distributed public radio program about "the dynamic cultures of childhood," which has recently recorded its 2000th episode. Aimed at an adult audience, Recess! recalls for its listeners their own early passions and inspirations while also reflecting on the cultures in which today's young people are discovering the world around them and their ever changing places within it.
